After they have ditched their cable service providers most of them arrive at Dish Network as their final destination, because Dish Network has so many choices in programming and is the unchallenged leader in high definition, with a full thirty-one channels in their list of high definition channels for the new arrivals to select from.

What many people are also surprised to discover is that Dish Network is also top dog of all satellite service providers when it comes to movies. While other service providers have chosen to cater to viewers who are into topics such as sports programming, Dish Network has chosen movies to be the one area that they are dominant in.

The first programming package in the Americas Top programming package series is the Dish Family Pak, with forty great channels of basic programming that makes this package long on programming and so short on price. This would be the package to choose if you are coming over to satellite service on a very tight budget. Along with the forty great channels of programming you also get all your local channels of standard programming with this and any other Dish network programming package.

The next level of programming package up is the Americas Top 60 programming package and just try to guess how many channels it has in it. This package is another budget friendly package, but it contains twenty more channels of fantastic programming.

The top package in the Americas Top series of programming packages is the Americas Everything package and it is a whale of a package with a full two-hundred and eighty-one channels of standard and high definition programming. So why go anywhere else?

Dish Network Is Tops In Customer Service

How many times in your life have you encountered lousy customer service while you were doing business with a retailer or service provider? With out exception it is always a lower level service representative and there is usually no management level representative around to see what is going on.

Sometimes you want to contact a manager and let him or her know what the offending employee is up to, but more often than not, if you are like most people, you finish your business and vow to yourself never to patronize the establishment again.

What if it is a service company such as a TV programming provider and you are committed to an extended service contract and the rude employee is on the phone and miles away out of your reach and you dont even know their name. This is a common dilemma suffered by cable customers each and every day.

The management at Dish Network has studied customer service and all its ramifications extensively and they came up with some enlightening conclusions on the subject. One thing that was found is that there is a direct correlation between customer service and employee moral and that happy and content employees give better service.

Another thing that was found was that employees that feel that they have a vested interest, rather than just a job at a company tend to also give better customer service. One startling conclusion that was made was that threatening, or punishing employees for giving poor customer service actually only made the problem worse.

So the management at Dish network focused their strategy for excellent customer service at the grass roots and set out to do what it takes to keep their customer service representatives happy and content in their employment positions.

Dish network has one of the best and most generous employee benefit packages in the industry, that is effective in bringing their workers together as one cohesive unit and gives each Dish Network team member a vested interest in the company. The result is that Dish Network has set new standards in the area of over all customer satisfaction and customer complaints are at an all time low when compared with industry competitors.

In fact J.D. Power and associates has recognized Dish Network for their achievements in over all customer satisfaction for the last five years in a row, with consistently high ratings. For years cable service providers had no competition, they literally had the market cornered in TV programming and they logged up a dismal record on customer service.

With the advent of satellite TV programming service and the competition it brings to the table, cable companies have tried to clean up their acts, with varying degrees of success. What cable service providers have encountered is an entrenched mentality and an institutionalized form of negativity as it pertains to employee moral that might take decades to root out.

The visionaries who developed and launched satellite service have all a one time in their lives been cable service customers themselves, prior to satellite service and they took inspiration form the negative experiences they encountered when dealing with their cable service providers. They all brought this inspiration with them, when they launched Dish Network and vowed that Dish Network would set new standards in customer service.

Dish Network Is The Leader In High Tech Gadgetry

When you are getting ready to decide on a TV programming service provider, you want to make sure that the one you decide on is not going to disappoint you further down the line when you start to learn how to use your system and want to start doing more with what you are paying for. Since satellite service made it debut the television and the services it can receive, have advanced in leaps and bounds from the days of cable service.

Satellite TV programming is a product of the space age and brings with it a higher level of technology and therefore much more that you can do with it. The research engineers at Dish Network are always busy developing new products that their viewing family members can use to have so much more fun with the programming that they get in their home.

To start with, all of the receivers that Dish Network has to offer are state of the art and loaded down with great easy to use functions that will allow you to view your programming in total convenience. Caller ID to help eliminate telephone distractions, custom menu, automatic program search function, stop, pause and rewind, are just some of the functions that you will find on Dish Network receivers.

As you can see, they are all no nonsense functions that anyone will appreciate and none of them are frivolous whistles and bells. The Vip211 receiver is their base model receiver that comes with their entry level programming package, or is available for anyone who doesnt require all the extra functions that other receivers have to offer. Offering this solid and reliable receiver for their entry level viewing family members, is one of the ways that Dish Network is able to also have the most competitive price tag on their entry level programming package.

The Vip311 and the Vip322 are two receiver options that Dish Network also makes available for its viewers to select from and each one has its own unique advantages. They both come with several easy to use one touch functions, including digital video recorder but the Vip311 will operate only one television set, while the Vip322 will operate two television sets and that is the only basic difference between them.

The Vip211 receiver is similar to the Vip311 model receiver except that it doesnt have the digital video recorder function. The Vip622 model receiver has the maximum amount of functions including digital video recorder and it can also support two separate TV sets connected to satellite TV.

One great device that is unique to Dish Network, is Pocket Dish. With Pocket Dish you can carry any and all the programming and music that you have recorded with you when you leave your home. Its small enough to fit in your shirt pocket but has a capacity large enough to fill a room with a whole truck load of stored programming and games. For all the latest in high tech gadgetry, look no further than Dish Network.

Watch Satellite Tv On Computer – Ready In No Time

It is a fact that satellite TV viewers today find it easy and convenient to watch satellite TV on computer. Since a few years ago, people have been able to watch satellite TV on computer by installing the PCTV cards. Such PCTV cards are basically computer hardware used to receive satellite TV channels and convert to viewable programs. The cards come as either external device plugged onto your computer or fixed directly onto your motherboard in your computer. These cards are not exactly cheap and can be priced in the range of hundreds of dollars for a quality branded card.

Ever since PC satellite TV software appeared, it has readily replaced this PCTV method to watch satellite TV on computer. After installation, the software enables your computer to function like a satellite television and you can start to watch thousands of worldwide satellite TV and radio stations on PC.

To watch satellite TV on computer with PC satellite TV software is catching on fast in the homes of developed countries especially USA, UK, Australia and Canada where the people spend many hours glued to their TV sets. There are several clear benefits to watch satellite TV on computer which we are going to discuss here.

1. Huge List of Satellite TV Channels

Average satellite TV services deliver not more than 200 satellite TV channels to their subscribers. Even with that number of programs, the quality of the TV programs is not always good and there are some channels which people hardly have any interest in. This is not the case with PC satellite TV software as it allows you to tune into thousands of global satellite TV stations to watch satellite TV on computer. Software users have reported that they can easily find TV channels showing programs like cartoons, videos, world news, sports events and games, latest released movies and TV shows. In short, you can definitely find a program you love to watch.

2. One-time Pricing

It costs no more than $50 to buy the PC satellite TV software used to watch satellite TV on computer. This is the biggest difference between using PC satellite TV software and satellite TV services. Once you own the satellite TV software, you are not required to fork out an extra dollar for the TV programs. Satellite TV services would normally charge you additional costs if you wish to watch some non-featured channels or LIVE sports broadcasts. If you use PC satellite TV software, this is free. This is yet another striking difference when using PC satellite TV software to watch TV on your PC.

3. Viewing Quality of Satellite TV Channels

The conventional method of using satellite dish to watch satellite TV can suffer from interferences in places where weather conditions can be harsh. It is a norm for the TV reception to be affected by weather and therefore, the TV picture quality is weak and fuzzy. There could be intermittent stoppages when you are watching your TV. This is most upsetting but unavoidable. But when you watch satellite TV on computer using software, this problem does not exist. Viewing quality of the satellite TV on PC far exceeds that of the satellite dish system in this aspect.

These are tangible advantages to watch satellite TV on computer with software. More and more people who see the affordability and versatility of the software have decided to ditch traditional satellite TV dish systems and services for PC satellite TV software. TV enthusiasts all welcome the change which of course includes me who is now able to catch a movie or watch my favorite TV news channel on PC.

Dish Networks Americas Top series of programming packages are recognized as some of the most diverse and well balanced programming packages in the industry.

They are all priced competitively also, so you dont have to break your budget to join the Dish network family of viewers. The folks at Dish Network are always looking out for their viewers and are constantly looking for ways that they can improve their service to them.

Since their inception, Dish Network has set the standard in over all customer satisfaction and J.D. Power and associates has consistently recognized them for this, by giving them high marks for their accomplishments in this area for the past five years in a row.

Dish Network even has a toll free, twenty-four hour a day customer service number that you can pick up your phone and call any time that you like. For your home, car, truck and RV, Dish Network is your one stop service provider for all your needs. All of the services that Dish network offers are surprisingly inexpensive, because Dish Network vowed from the very beginning to be the most competitive service provider when it comes to affordable pricing.

Dish Network Has The Complete System For Your Rv

If you havent been keeping up with the latest developments in entertainment for RV owners, then you are in for a pleasant surprise when you see what Dish network can do for you and your RV. Dish Network has set the new standard in RV satellite TV programming systems with the development of it technologically advanced Mobile Dish satellite TV programming service that is engineered and marketed specifically for RV owners.

It currently has one-hundred channels of programming, with plans to add more channels in the near future. Mobile Dish is a satellite TV programming service that can be received and used while the RV is in motion, witch is something that they have never been able to do up till now.

It uses a sleek, low profile antenna, which never has to be adjusted or removed to receive the satellite signals with. This is a radical change from the way things have always been done in the past. Satellite TV systems were great for RVs in the past, because any other type of TV programming service just wasnt practical, but they did have some serious drawbacks.

One major drawback was that they couldnt receive real time satellite transmissions on the road and unless the receiver had a digital video recorder the TV screen was left blank. This meant that the only time that an RV owner could receive satellite programming was while the RV was stationary and only then after they had set up and positioned their finicky satellite dish.

It was all backwards because the time on the road is when great satellite programming is needed to break the monotony of long trips. After a vacationer arrived at their destination, they really didnt need satellite programming so much if they chose an exciting and interesting destination to go to in the first place.

If a vacationer needed to run to the store or to the laundry mat, they had to unplug or take down the dish on the roof first and all that was a big pain. With Mobile Dish an RV owner can just turn the key and head on down the road and the satellite programming on the TV just keeps on playing uninterrupted, as sweet as can be.

There is still more in the way of entertainment for an RV from the folks at Dish Network. Right now along with the free Sirius satellite radio you can get for your home TV with Dish Network programming packages, they will also give you free Sirius satellite radio for your car, truck, or RV.

If you are unfamiliar with satellite radio, you might find it worth looking into. Its commercial free radio with a far broader range of topics and music varieties. It has everything from heavy metal, to blue grass channels for to select from twenty-four hours a day.

Also, because it is broadcast from a satellite outside the borders of any country and it has no sponsors there is no one to appease during the talk radio shows. Its a refreshing new way of radio broadcasting, that is here to stay and is sweeping the nation. Not only has Dish Network dominated the field of home TV programming, but now they have you covered in your RV.

Dish Network For The Most In High Definition And Movie Programming

If you are currently trying to decide on a TV programming service provider, then it is important that you know that they are not all alike and depending on what you are looking for, one may be better suited to you than the others. If you are considering choosing a cable service provider for your TV programming, its buyer beware, because cable service providers have a track record of predatory business practices that stretches back for decades and they have been treating their customers like suckers for so long, that it seems that they will never change their practices.

For years and years cable service providers had no competition except for each other, so they had no incentive to treat their customers decently. They were even gouging their customers on over priced installation fees thirty years ago, when they knew they would be stuck paying for their over priced and under choiced programming for decades to come.

They still charge for installation, when Dish Network offers free installation in up to four rooms in your home or business and free receivers for up to four separate TVs also. Installation charges are just one of the many areas that set Dish Network apart from cable service providers and one more area of difference is the number of high definition channels that Dish Network carries.

Dish Network caries a full thirty-one channels of high definition programming for their family of viewers, with more planned in the future and no cable service provider can match that. This is because cable service providers are limited in the number of high delimitation channels that their cables themselves can carry.

Its a technological transmission road block that cable service providers are stuck with. For movie programming no other service provider in cable or satellite can touch what Dish Network has to offer for their family of TV viewers. Dish Network dominates the field of movie programming, in much the same way as DirecTV dominates the field of sports programming.

The management at Dish network knows that you cant be everything to everyone, so they picked one area in particular to specialize in and that is movies. Showtime Unlimited, Starz Super Pak, HBO and Cinamax are just a few of the programming channels that they have for movie lovers.

They feature anything from western classics, to science fiction and everything in between. They also have one of the best pay per views that can bring latterly hundreds of movie choices to your place each and every month. Finding and recording all your favorite movies is so easy to do with Dish Network, because their receivers come with an optional digital video recorder feature and program search function.

With the program or movie search function you can find a movie by simply entering it in to the function by its name or even the name of an actor in the movie if you cant remember its name. Click the button and there it is on your screen with all the relevant information you will need, including the day and time it is playing and some brief information on its plot and story line.

Click the one touch record function and it I set to record, whether you are there or not when it comes on and its all just that easy. Make the cable to Dish Network comparison check today and then come on up to Dish Network.

Dish Network For The Leader In High Definition

No other programming service can come close to what Dish Network has in the way of high definition programming. While some may claim that they are the leaders in high definition, only Dish Network can produce the actual numbers to back up their claim.

Thirty-one channels is the number of programming channels that they have in high definition and you wont fine another programming service provider that caries that many. If you havent had a chance to see the difference that high definition makes on your TV screen, then maybe it is time that you took a trip to an electronics retailer and witnessed the high definition programming that they will have playing on the screens of the TVs, that they will have on their show room floor.

The difference is incredible, because the picture and sound are twice as brilliant and defined, due to whats inside of the TV screen. A TV uses something called vertical lines of resolution and pixels to create the picture on the screen with and the more of them that they have, the better the picture is.

A high definition TV has one-thousand and eighty vertical lines of resolution, which is a little more than double what the standard TV screen has in it. The screen is also wider than the standard TV screen and the high definition picture is sent out in this wider theater style format.

Its not a subtle difference that all this makes, but rather a dramatic difference and it is most notable on the big screened TV. When the big screened TVs made their appearance a few decades ago, everyone was wowed by them but they required a big room to play in, because the picture was vague and fuzzy when viewed from up close.

This meant that people in condos and apartments and smaller houses had to put up with the vague picture, or completely do without the big screen TVs. The picture on the high definition TV looks great from even a few feet away, so now anyone can partake in the big screen experience with high definition.

Video game manufacturers are now even developing and marketing high definition video games and if you are into video games, just wait until you play them on a high definition TV. Dish Networks high definition programming comes with digitized surround sound, with Dolby noise reduction technology and this makes for a clean, crisp, CD quality sound, that sounds fantastic when it is ran through a stereo system.

The price on new high definition TV sets is lower than it ever has been before, due to the continually falling price on home electronics products. This means that this may be one luxury item that you can afford to easily bring into your home environment.

Dish Networks Americas Everything programming package comes with two-hundred and eighty-one channels of fantastic programming and thirty-one of those channels are their high definition channels. With this programming package you will lack nothing in the area of high definition and standard programming.

Directv Takes The Confusion Out Of Programming Packages

Every programming service provider claims to have the best programming packages at the best price on the market, but they all cant be right. They all claim that they are the leaders in the industry in one area or another but they all cant be leaders, because if they were all leaders, who is there to follow the leader and leaders need followers to be leaders.

The folks at DirecTV arent concerned with what everyone else is doing, because all they care about is their own services and products for their customers. This is why DirecTV created the Total Choice series of programming packages.

This series of packages is so easy and simple to understand and the choices are so simple to make with Total Choice. It starts off with the Family Choice programming package which is their base level, or introductory package. It has forty great channels of programming and also has all your local standard TV channels on it.

Its all your basic channels, but they are good channels and it is a well blended and balanced programming package. This would be a package that someone might choose if they were on a tight budget, because the price is so low on this package.

DirecTV does not charge for programming package upgrades, so if at any time you would like to add more programming to this base level package, or move up to another package, there is no fee for doing so. The next level of programming package in this series is the Total Choice package and it has a full one-hundred and fifty-five channels of programming in it to choose from.

With this programming package you really start to get into the programming choices. You have your choice of Hughes receivers when you join the DirecTV family of viewers, so you might think of selecting the receiver with the custom menu feature, because it allows you to set up your own menu of your favorite programs, so you dont have to surf through all the channels every time you sit down to watch TV.

DirecTV gives free Sirius satellite radio starting with this programming package and all the others above it. So if you love good music or talk radio then you might take this into consideration.

Above the Total choice programming is the Total Choice Plus package that is packed with one-hundred and eighty-five channels of great programming. Starz Super Pak, HBO and Cinimax are just a few of the great programs that come in this package.

One-hundred and eighty-five channels is a lot of channels, but if you still need more there is the next level up with the Total Choice Premier package and it has an unbelievable two-hundred and fifty channels of programming and you get everything in this package.

DirecTV carries twenty-five channels of sports programming and a few extra sports channels that they have exclusive broadcasting rights to. So if you are into sports and into easy to understand programming packages that dont cost a bundle, DirecTV is your programming service provider.

Directv Stands Unchallenged In Sports Programming

If you werent around before there was even cable service, then you dont remember how ruthless sports broadcasters were with their TV viewers. A person had to schedule their whole life around sports programming, because if they expected any to be on when they just turned on the TV, there just wasnt any.

So when ever there was decent sports programming scheduled, a person had to drop what ever it was that was important in their life and take the time out to watch it. Cable came along and helped out a little, but even they didnt get it, because they refused to accept that true sports fanatics needed allot of sports programming all the time.

Until DirecTV came along, sports fanatics had to fight for every little bit of programming that they could get. Sports fans are a major part of the total viewing population and they have been treated badly by TV programming service providers for years and years. Its no coincidence that DirecTV is the leader in viewing members with well over fifteen-million and still counting and also the leader in sports programming with twenty-five channels devoted entirely to sports programming.

DirecTV even has two sports programming channels that you cant get from any other programming service provider. They feature NCAA Mega March Madness and NFL Sunday Ticket. Dish Network has exclusive rights to telecast these programs and this just shows DirecTVs commitment to sports programming.

So if you are truly into sports, then there is just no other placer to go to other than DirecTV. DirecTV offers more than just than sports programming to its viewing family and they know that the true sports fan needs certain tools to view sports programming correctly. Most people who watch TV programming will sit back and relax and watch their shows and sometimes even take a nap while they are at it.

A sports fanatic sits at the edge of their seat during a good game, with the remote clenched in their hand, talking to the TV set as if it could actually understand what they were saying. For this type of true sports fanatic DirecTV has the top of the line Hughes receiver with digital video recorder Powered by TiVo. With this unit you have several functions right in your hand that give you more input during sporting events.

Slow motion instant replay is one of the functions that you get with this receiver. You can also pause a live sports event to answer the phone or go to the fridge and start it right back up where it left off when you return, with this function.

Zip right past any annoying TV commercials with this function also. TiVo is patented electronics technology and DirecTV has to pay to have it in each and every unit it is installed in, but they know that these functions are an absolute must for the avid sports fan and they are glad to have TiVo there for them. So for your complete sports needs there is virtually no other TV programming service provider that can compete with DirecTV.

Directv Scores With Twenty Five Channels Of Sports

When you go to watch your favorite sports programming, how does it feel when your programming service provider doesnt have it. This frequently happens when special sporting events come on such as a super Bowl game, or other special sports programs, that are not just the run of the mill sports events.

Since its inception in nineteen-ninety-four, the folks at DirecTV have done everything that it takes to stand apart from the other TV programming service providers when it comes to sports. DirecTV carries twenty-five channels of sports and this does not include the channels that they have exclusive broadcasting rights to, that no other service provider carries.

You have to pay a little extra for the exclusive channels if you want to add them to your programming package, but not much and they sure are worth it if you are into sports. Being the leader in sports involves more than just the programming at DirecTV and this is why they stock Hughes satellite system components exclusively.

The Hughes name is synonymous with quality and durability in electronics and they have a track record that stretches back for years, that reflects this in their products. Dont worry about having to pay a high price for the quality that comes with the Hughes name, because your satellite system is free of charge, when you join the DirecTV family of TV viewers.

Thats right, you pay nothing for it and it comes completely installed for free also. For the die hard sports fans the Hughes Executive receiver with digital video recorder Powered by TiVo would be the wise choice for their receiver to use. It comes with instant replay in slow motion, as one of its many features that it puts at your finger tips.

This receiver and all the other Hughes receivers that DirecTV stocks are just loaded with simple to understand, user friendly functions. These functions and features arent just whistles and bells either because they are all great common sense functions.

Find a sports program by simply entering it into the search function by name and give the button a click. The programs date and time instantly appears on your screen along with some relevant information on it. If you cant be there when it is on, just click the record button and it is set to record when it does come on and you dont even have to be there. It will even record one sports program, while you are watching another one on another channel.

The DVR is built right into the receiver and has a full one-hundred hours of memory in it, so you can record over four solid days of sports programming on it. Build your own spots footage archive if you want to with this unit, because its so easy to use and program. So if you are into sports and you also love great deals, then there really is only one choice for your TV programming and that is DirecTV.

Directv Satellite Receivers Are Top Of Line And Free

If you have had enough of your standard TV programming or your cable service provider, you might take comfort in the fact that you are not alone. Over fifteen million people have jumped over to DirecTV programming service for basically the same reasons.

The quality of the programming is as high as it gets and the price on it is also very reasonable. Programming service providers have to buy their TV programming before they can send it out to their customers and some TV service providers like to shop around for the cheapest programming that they can find.

Sure they play some top quality stuff, just to play it safe, but if you were to click the channels around you might find programming like how-to instructional programming on playing the bag-pipes or great how-to shows on polka dancing. These are cheap programs that they got to fill in to save money and they hope that their customers dont realize that they are being horns waggled.

Cable companies have been notorious for this type of programming practice and now that there is satellite TV programming offering a better product, they are losing all of their customers for this and so many other reasons. DirecTV brings nothing but the best in top quality programming to its viewing family channel after channel after channel. DirecTV also gives each and every new family member a free top of the line satellite system.

Its a Hughes system and Hughes is the exclusive brand of electronics that DirecTV carries. Installation is always free is charge and DirecTV only uses its in house team of installation experts, so the job is always flawless. The receiver unit is the core of a satellite TV system and DirecTV gives you the choice of several models of Hughes receiver.

Receivers are just like any other home electronics component, in that the lesser the quality the more prone they are to malfunctions. The more functions there on a cheap receiver then they are even more prone to malfunctions, so it is imperative that you use a higher quality of satellite TV receiver if you want lots of great features and functions.

The Hughes name has a long standing reputation for reliability and sturdy construction and this is the reason why DirecTV chose Hughes as their exclusive brand of satellite TV components to provide to their family of viewers. The Hughes Executive model of satellite receiver is just loaded with easy to use one touch functions such as digital video recording capabilities.

Finding and recording your favorite programming is a simple one touch task with the automatic programming search function. Just enter in the name of the program you are looking for and with one touch of a button it instantly appears on the TV screen. The date and time that is showing, along with a few relevant facts on the story line and plot are also included.

Click the record button and it is set to automatically record when the program comes on. It will even automatically follow the program and record it, if it rescheduled to another time or day without you being aware of it. When you go with DirecTV and Hughes electronics you are guaranteed top quality programming and electronics components.

Directv Makes It So Easy To Switch From Cable

If you are currently a cable programming service customer, then you might have noticed that it is more expensive than satellite service and has fewer channels to choose from among other things. You might have also had some suspicions that you were being taken for a ride, when your service provider gouged you with their installation fee.

They have been doing this to their new customers since they first started up and they still do it to this day. Do you pay your cable service provider extra money for the privilege of receiving your programming in digitized format? Most cable service providers use a standard analog format that they send out their programming in. Its the same format as standard TV has been using since the days of black and white TV programming.

They charge their unfortunate customers extra if they want to receive their programming in the higher quality digitized format. Does your cable service provider have twenty-five channels of programming delegated exclusively to sports programming? Also does your cable service provider have exclusive broadcasting rights to sports channels that no other programming service provider has?

All of these items are just a few of the things that set DirecTV and your cable service provider apart from each other. If you have grown tired of your cable service providers aggressive business tactics and lousy service, you are not alone, because millions of cable service customers just like you have voted with their feet and switched over to a better quality of service and programming from DirecTV.

DirecTV has an exemplary customer service record and J.D. Power and associates has recognized them for this for the past five years in a row with a stellar rating. When you join the DirecTV family of TV viewers you are greeted with a free top of the line Hughes satellite system that is yours to keep. Installation is also free of charge and it is all done by DirecTVs own team of in house installation experts, so the job is done right each and every time.

DirecTV also gives free installation in up to four rooms in your home or business and will also supply you with all the Hughes satellite receivers you need to connect up to four separate TVs to DirecTV satellite service. All of DirecTVs programming is sent out to its family of TV viewers in digitized format and they wouldnt dream of charging a penny extra for it like cable service providers do.

This is because DirecTV has a standing policy of always striving to bring the best programming and service that they can to their customers, at the lowest possible prices. The folks at DirecTV love to load up their new family member with lots of free stuff and right now they are giving away free Sirius satellite radio with some of their great programming packages and a free digital camera to each and every new customer. Millions of cable customers just like you have already made the step up to DirecTV and so can you.

Directv Gives You Total Choice

If you have taken a look at what is available out there from all the different programming service providers in the way of programming service packages, you may have noticed that they all can be a somewhat confusing to understand. It can be hard to find a basic entry level programming package that isnt loaded up with extra cannels that you really dont need or want.

DirecTV understands that there are quite a few people out there who really do want to start in with satellite programming service on the cheap, to just try it out first. Or maybe they are on a shoe string budget and want to have the better programming and services that DirecTV provides and are watching their bills very carefully.

For this type of customer, DirecTV has the Family Choice programming package and it is a basic level programming package that has all the basic programming channels that you will need to have a good time watching and enjoying satellite TV programming. It also comes with all your local TV channels and programming. It is quite possibly the lowest priced programming package available on todays market.

It is the first programming package in the Total Choice series of programming packages that DirecTV carries for its viewing family to choose from. They are a simple and easy to understand series of packages that stair step you up incrementally in the number of channels, as you move from one package to another.

After you have made your selection, DirecTV has loads of other programming channels that you can augment your programming package with. Adult programming and exclusive sports channels that only DirecTV has the broadcast rights to, are just some of the great choices that are there for you to pick and choose from when you join the DirecTV family of TV viewers.

After the Family Choice package, the next step up is the Total Choice package that has a full one-hundred and fifty-five channels for you to choose from in it. Even with this many channels in it, its still priced as an entry or base level package. This is because DirecTV has some of the lowest costs per channel in the industry.

DirecTV also make available the sturdy and reliable Hughes Director receiver for their basic entry level package customers who wish to keep their over all cost as low as possible. Its a great, solid and reliable receiver, but it just doesnt have all the extra functions that some of their more advanced receivers have.

The next level up is their Total Choice Plus package and it has even more programming choices with one-hundred and eighty-five channels for you to choose from. Their Total Choice premier programming package has a whole truck load of programming choices, with two-hundred and fifty channels for you to surf through.

DirecTV also has a wide selection of high definition channels for you to add on, if you choose to augment your programming package with this newest type of programming. So for affordability that is also so simple to choose from look to the folks at DirecTV.

Directv For Top Quality Name Brand Electronics

Each and every TV programming service provider has certain areas where they choose to focus their recourses more then others and then cater to the area of the market that prefers those particular areas or area that they specialize in. No programming service provider can be everything to everyone, so you have to look them all over and make a note of the particular area that each one is dominant.

DirecTV specializes in sports programming and because of this they also use a higher quality of receiver that is required for sports enthusiasts. People who watch movie programming tend to sit back and relax while they watch the movie, while and avid sports fan in contrast will watch sports programming differently.

They will watch a good game with the TV remote clenched tightly in their hand and tend to make full use of any and all functions that can enhance their sports event. They also tend to record more programming and some will even record every sports event that they watch to be sure they have any unusual or extreme events that might happen during a game, recorded and stored in their archive.

For the true sports fanatic, instant replay in slow motion is a must have feature and it only comes on a higher quality satellite receiver with digital video recorder Powered by TiVo. This function will also allow you to stop a live event to go to the fridge and start it right back up where it left off when you return to the tube.

While some service providers cut corners by providing lesser quality off brand electronics components and receivers to their customers. DirecTV has chosen to go the other direction, with top of the line name brand Hughes receivers and electronics components.

There is only one down side to the customer in this and that is that they have to pay a nominal fee for the high definition Hughes receiver if they go with high definition programming from DirecTV. A good top quality name brand receiver like a Hughes receiver is not a cheap unit and DirecTV does not charge the total cost of the receiver. They only charge a nominal amount to help to offset then added cost of providing a higher quality unit.

When you join a service provider for your TV programming, it is long term agreement and you should make sure that you not only have quality programming which DirecTV also has, but you also want to have high quality gear with loads of features that are simple to understand and reliable.

The bottom line is that if a service provider will give you a free high definition receiver, it is a cheap unit and cheap home electronics components have a well earned reputation for breaking down right when you least expect them to. DirecTV carries Hughes receivers exclusively because of their long standing track record in quality and reliability. They could have gone with a cheaper source, but they didnt because they wanted to provide the best that they could in satellite TV systems to their viewing family members.

How Pc Satellite Tv Dethroned The Cable Tv

Gone are the days when cable TV was a simple matter of turning the idiot box on and settling down to a baseball or basketball broadcast. With the advent of technology, Satellite TV has come and occupied a premium place in the hearts of the people. The first satellite television signal was relayed from Europe to the Telstar satellite over North America in 1962.

Satellite TV is dominating the US market with its best quality picture, maximum number of channels for the least amount of money and thus awesome value for the money spent.

Earlier the satellite TV was limited to the towns; but now even the farmers and country dwellers could have the entertainment option through the satellite TV. Even the gigantic satellite dish sizes were changed to sleek models and no more installation headaches. The satellite TV has meta-morphsized a lot. Today's satellite dish is sleek and compact , and satellite TV offers strong competition to cable TV.

In fact, the intense rivalry has forced cable TV providers to add extra services like high definition TV signals and movies on demand in an attempt to compete with satellite TV. Unfortunately, the cost increase led to the constant rate hikes in the subscription for viewers and thus operators lose customers. This led to the growth of satellite TV which offers an alternative to all these frustrations.

Let me explain in brief regarding the satellite TV. Satellite TV is a television delivered by way of communications satellite , as compared to conventional terrestrial television and cable television. Satellite TV gives you a clear and comprehensive picture of your best alternative to typical cable TV. Right now, over 45 million people in US subscribe to Satellite TV. Satellite TV is no longer an obscure or exclusive club for people with big wallets. With most retailers offering free installation, you can start enjoying satellite TV for as low as $19.99 a month!

Satellite TV provides the best picture quality and the most channels for the least amount of money. Thus creating the most awesome value for the money spent over entertainment.

Today, there are three major providers of Satellite television: Dish Network, DirecTV and VOOM. Each one offers a large number of channels and several low-cost options for service. In addition to that, they offer freedom from the binding stresses of your local cable company, and that alone is worth it.

The best deals on satellite TV are available from authorized retailers. While your monthly bill will be the same regardless of where you procure your equipment (the providers dictate the monthly cost either way), these authorized retailers offer you a far better selection of promotions, such as free installation and equipment, discounted HDTV dishes and receivers, and free trials of premium channel, and credit towards your first month's bills (refund of activation fees).

Now you can watch more channels than your standard antenna could ever provide. You can receive more than 250 stations from favorites like CNN, MTV, HBO, and ESPN, to more obscure options like the Speed Channel, Discovery Wings, and the Love Stories network, Nickelodeon and HGTV, plus plenty of movies, sports, local channels (in many cities) and even HDTV programming. Subscribers also receive more than 30 commercial-free music stations-from Top 40 to Jazz to Classical and everything in-between. There is a satellite TV channel to suit every imaginable interest. Whether you're into sports, fashion, travel, music or romance, you will find it all, and much, much more, on satellite TV.

Both Dish Network and Direct TV received the highest possible reputation and ratings in almost every category, including reliability, cost, and customer service. In contrast, the major cable companies' scores were not even close.

According to JD Power and Associates, 133,000 consumers nationwide and discovered that they gave both DIRECTV and DISH Network "outstanding" customer service ratings…while only two cable providers were found to perform "above or at" the industry average. J.D. Power and Associates ratings are based on research studies that survey a representative sample of owners, they are indicative of what typical buyers may experience. Truly they are based on the opinions of consumers who have actually used or owned the product or service being rated.

When it comes to satellite TV system providers, Dish network Satellite System is the top rated satellite TV system provider. It is known for its delivering unsurpassed customer satisfaction and excellent product quality, all at cost-effective prices. DISH Network is a direct broadcast satellite (DBS) service that provides satellite television and audio programming to households and businesses in the United States. By the end of the year 2006, there are over 13 million installations of Dish Network. So one can judge the popularity it enjoys in the hearts of Americans.

Directv And Dish Network Which To Choose

If you are considering making the step up from cable service to satellite TV programming, then the choice you have comes down to the two industry leaders in satellite TV programming. These two satellite programming service providers are DirecTV and Dish Network and they have dominated the field for over a decade with a greater choice of channels and programming packages and higher standards in customer service. All presented to their viewing family members at competitive prices.

While both of these companies are similar in many areas, they also differ in others. They have both focused their energies in different areas of programming and service, so while one may be dominant in one area the other may lead in another and what your particular needs and wants are, is what will determine in the end, which companies programming, products and services are most suitable for you.

Their prices do vary slightly and for many people price is a major factor in their final decision, so look carefully and compare everything because Dish Network may be less expensive in one area and yet more expensive in another.

DirecTV specializes in sports programming and has a much wider variety of sports programming and more channels choices to choose from. They also have exclusive telecasting rights to two sports channels that you cant get anywhere else. These two program channels are the NCAA Mega March Madness and the NFL Sunday Ticket channels and they are both loaded with unique sports programming.

However, DirecTV does tend to come with a slightly higher price tag, but they do offer higher quality satellite receivers that have more functions in them that you might be interested in if you are a sports fan.

Dish Network has DirecTV beat in the area of movie priming and is in fact the recognized industry leader in movie programming. Dish Network set out to be the dominant player in the area of movies and did a good job accomplishing that feat.

Showtime Unlimited, Starz Superpak, HBO, Cinimax and Turner Classics are just a few of the programming choices that they have, along with an extensive pay per view service that brings literally hundreds of movie choices to their viewing family each and every month. They feature everything from classic westerns, to science fiction and comedy and everything in between.

They also make available to their viewers a device that they have named Pocket Dish. This little gadget allows you to take all the music and programming that you have recorded on your receiver with you when you leave the house. It holds hours and hours of video games and movies, yet easily fits in your shirt pocket.

In the area of over all customer satisfaction both companies are running head to head and in fact they have both been recognized for their higher level of customer satisfaction by J.D. Power and associates. It is important to know just what you want in home entertainment programming before you set out to shop around for the best deal that suits you. So give it some thought, then make the Dish Network, DirecTV comparison check.

Come Home To Satellite Tv Programming

If you are like most people out there, one thing that you do is to come home after you are through working, or doing what ever it is you do during the day. When you get home, you usually have some routine that you go through, then at some point you will sit back end relax for a while to unwind and let some stress drift away.

If watching the tube is part of your routine, then you will want to have the best programming available for you to watch. Most cable service providers charge their customers extra to receive their programming in digitized format. If you are a cable customer and you havent forked over the extra money for this privilege, then this is why your picture is sometimes fuzzy and unclear and needs to be adjusted sometimes.

DirecTV and Dish Network both broadcast all their programming in digitized format and they dont charge an extra penny for it. In fact the folks at these two satellite TV programming service providers often wonder why cable service providers would even send out any of their programming to their customers that wasnt in digitized format. It would be like going to a restaurant and they give you the choice of good or lousy food.

Since they started up in the TV programming business, both of these companies have held to higher standards in the way they do business with their viewing family members. Do you remember what your cable service provider charged you for the installation of their cables in your home or business? Both DirecTV and Dish Network charge nothing for their installation, in up to four rooms. Cable service providers have been gouging people on installation since they first started up and they are still doing it.

These two leaders in satellite TV programming make it so easy and inexpensive to come home to satellite TV programming and they wouldnt have it any other way. To start with, they give you a free satellite TV system when you join either one of their family of viewers and it comes with free installation also.

The complete system including the dish, receiver and everything and it is professionally installed by their own team of in house installation experts, so you can rest assured that every job is done right. They even offer free Sirius satellite radio with some of their programming packages and DirecTV will even throw in a free digital camera as part of their great promotional offer they are currently running.

Dish Network will even give you free Sirius satellite radio for your car with some of their programming packages now. No other programming service provider can come close to what these two programmers have to offer in the way of sports and movie programming and this is a well documented fact.

Dish Network is recognized as the number one programming service provider, with the most movie channel choices available anywhere and DirecTV has twenty-five sports channels and this is a number no one can touch. Before you decide on where you are going to go for your TV programming, make the comparison between satellite and cable service.

Better Childrens Programming With Dish Network

When it comes to childrens programming, no one comes close to what the folks at Dish Network can do for you. Childrens programming has come a long way from what it started out as and now it is more educational than it ever has been. The first few years of a Childs life are an important learning time and it is important to take advantage of every opportunity you have, to educate your child.

Just sitting your child down in front of the TV set just wont do any more, when there is so much great programming to be had from the folks at Dish Network.
